NEW! Improved Class Structure

If you’ve taken classes with us before, you’ll notice this is the first time we’ve changed the structure of the classes in over two years. We’ve gotten some new blood for teachers and organizers, as well as a fabulous new venue. To take advantage of both of these, we’ve adopted a class structure based on the travels and experiences of our various teachers. Our goals are to (a) make it easier for students to stick with dancing, and (b) improve retention, especially for people new to partner dance classes.

Starting in July, we’ll be offering beginner-level social dance classes in East Coast Swing, Charleston, Lindy Hop, and Balboa. We’ll also have an advanced beginner level Lindy Hop class (“Footwork & Spins”) and an intermediate level Lindy Hop class (“Dips & Tricks”).

Here is the breakdown of the improved class structure:

  1. Each series is now 6 weeks long
  2. Pricing per series has been scaled up to include the 2 extra classes, as well as 2 discounted dance passes (way cool!)
  3. Completion of beginner level classes requires 2/3 attendance in classes, attendance at 2 dances, and a very short class performance/recital.
  4. Even better, we’re now offering steep discounts for taking multiple classes ($30 off on 2 classes, $75 off on 3 classes)

REGISTRATION is now open for July classes.
